Accelerate surface renewal and lighten post-acne marks

Chemical peels for scar treatment focus on accelerating the removal of pigmented, textured surface skin and stimulating the collagen remodeling needed for genuine scar improvement. They work best as adjunctive therapy — brightening the surface while deeper modalities address the structural changes.

How it works

Medium-depth peels (TCA 15–30%, Jessner's) penetrate into the papillary dermis, triggering a controlled wound-healing response that replaces damaged, pigmented tissue with new, more uniform skin. The Chemical Peel's LHA formulation specifically targets post-inflammatory pigmentation while the alkaline component calms residual inflammation. Serial peels progressively reduce the depth of shallow boxcar scars and improve overall skin quality, serving as both a standalone treatment for mild scarring and an important adjunct in comprehensive scar protocols.

What to expect

Similar to standard chemical peel experience. Cleanse, apply, neutral, soothe. Some temporary intensification of redness and visible peeling as scar tissue turns over.

Downtime and aftercare

3–7 days of peeling depending on peel depth. Mild pinkness for 1–2 weeks.

Results

Most impactful for pigmented scars and mild surface texture. Typically 3–6 treatments for meaningful improvement. Best used in combination with RF Microneedling or laser for comprehensive scar improvement.

Ideal for

Pigmented scars, mild atrophic scars, surface texture improvement, maintenance

Recommended treatment course

4–6 sessions, 3–4 weeks apart

Typical appointment time

60–75 min
