Glowtox (also called Skinboosters or Mesotoxin) involves microinjections of very diluted botulinum toxin across the skin surface — targeting sebaceous glands and arrector pili muscles to dramatically reduce pore size, control oiliness, and create a diffuse surface-smoothing effect.

How it works

Unlike standard Botox (which targets large muscle groups at depth), Glowtox uses intradermal microinjections across a broad area. The diluted neurotoxin acts on the tiny smooth muscles surrounding each pore and on the secretory rate of sebaceous glands — reducing both the physical size of pores and the amount of oil produced. The result is a fine-pored, matte, smoother skin surface — the Korean 'glass skin' effect. Effects last 4–6 months and, with repeated treatment, can have lasting benefits on sebaceous gland activity.

What to expect

A topical numbing cream is applied. A grid of tiny microinjections covers the treatment area (face, or specific zones). The procedure takes 30–45 minutes. Tiny bumps from the injections are visible for a few hours and resolve by the next morning.

Downtime and aftercare

Minimal. Small injection site bumps for a few hours. No restriction on normal activities.

Results
