Lala Peel is one of the most popular Korean skincare treatments. Lala Peel is an LHA (Lipohydroxy Acid) Peel. LHA is a derivative of salicylic acid and is often used for exfoliation and improving skin texture.

Why should you consider a Lala Peel?

  1. Exfoliation: LHA is known for its gentle exfoliating properties. It can penetrate the skin’s surface and help remove dead skin cells, debris, and excess oil, making it beneficial for individuals with acne-prone or oily skin.
  2. Acne Treatment: LHA peels are often used to treat acne and acne-prone skin. They can help unclog pores, reduce inflammation, and prevent new breakouts by exfoliating the skin and targeting acne-causing bacteria.
  3. Texture Improvement: LHA peels can improve the overall texture of the skin. They help to smooth rough patches, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and leave the skin looking fresher and more vibrant.
  4. Less Irritating: LHA is considered to be less irritating than some other chemical exfoliants, such as glycolic acid or stronger concentrations of salicylic acid. This makes it suitable for individuals with sensitive or reactive skin.
  5. Minimal Downtime: Compared to more aggressive chemical peels, LHA peels typically have minimal downtime. You may experience some redness or mild peeling, but it’s usually short-lived.
  6. Customizable Strength: LHA peels come in various strengths, allowing skincare professionals to customize the treatment to your specific skin needs and concerns.
  7. Sun Protection: After an LHA peel, it’s crucial to use sunscreen diligently, as the skin may be more sensitive to UV radiation.

What to expect during a Lala Peel appointment:

Step 1: Micro Bubble Cleanse

A pH balanced cleanser is used to thoroughly cleanse the skin, removing impurities, dirt, and makeup.

Step 2: LHA Basic Peel

In this step the first peel is applied using a unique brush method, increasing circulation and lymphatic flow at the same time. It is left on the skin for 5-10 minutes, then removed with a cold, wet cloth.

Step 3: LHA Ultra Peel

A second peel is applied using an upward motion and is double the strength of the first peel. It is also left on the skin for 5-10 minutes before being removed with a cold, wet cloth.

Step 4: LED Therapy

Dr. Kim will choose a wavelength of light that addresses your main concerns. You can expect to receive the LED therapy for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 5: Face Mask

To finish off the treatment, a face mask will be applied for about 10-15minutes to soothe, hydrate, nourish, and calm your skin.

You can expect the appointment to take about 40 minutes to an hour from start to finish. Getting regular Lala Peels will get you the ‘Glass Skin’ results you desire. Contact us at 713-281-1354 for more information or to schedule your appointment to start your journey to healthy glass-like skin!
